A new historical thriller in four parts by Bill Craig, it starred Ian Ogilvy as Dominic Allardyce, Roddy McMillan as Gillespie, Victor Carin as Moray, John Carlisle as Lethington, and Alex McAvoy as Puddock. Episode three included early TV appearances by Alec Heggie as Bothwell, and Harriet Buchan as Lady Janet.
